I’ve worked on and off in the technology and marketing world over the last 30 years but I’ve always had an interest in photography. In fact, in 1976 when I was in Grade 6, I saved my money from my paper route and bought my first Single Lens Reflex camera … it was a Dyramic R-1 by Zenit. I was fascinated at how people could capture an image in 1/400th of a second that would tell an amazing story. What was even more amazing, was when I learned how to manipulate the mood or saturation of a picture with specialized tricks in the darkroom.
