Vacation Bible School Camp had 26 campers and teen leaders join this year. They had a great time with fun activities, treats, tie dye shirts, trips to the park, and singing. This year our Mandarin congregation, with the leadership of Brianne Lee and Pastor Don, made this possible. We are so thankful for their faith in God to make this work when it seemed impossible with both volunteers and resources. We know God was honored this week and pray it is a seed for each young person's next step in faith.

Porch Pantry |
Our Porch Pantry ministry began early 2020 when the pandemic shut down Newmarket. During the pandemic we know many people were effected financially but there were some who were already hungry. Christian Baptist church prayed for God to make himself known on Main St. but little did we know, He was already at work! Our small congregation who was also effected decided to act in faith. Members donated lockers, canned food, and money to start the Porch Pantry. God has been faithful to keep it full thanks to the continued generosity of our members and also our community! We currently regularly feed 30 people.
The Porch Pantry is open 24/7. Come anytime and get food you need or drop off food you would like to donate. We also have frozen prepared food inside but please knock on the door to get assistance. We would love to meet you! Porch Pantry Needs: (Updated May 23, 2023)

Annex Cafe |
Annex Cafe was another new ministry born out of the isolation of the pandemic. It was our hearts to connect with our community in a safe environment where we could provide a cup of coffee and a chat. We created 2 "Walk-thru" windows to provide breakfast and coffee from a safe distance. However, over time, the conversations have grown into friendships.
We have now expanded our cafe to provide lunch. This step required faith as we were uncertain how we would provide meals. BUT GOD PROVIDES! We have been so blessed by donations, picnic tables, and volunteers so we could serve those in need or food insecure. The first month, we served between 60-100 meals per week. Each person is another opportunity to feed with food and God's love! We are open every Wednesday for lunch 11:30a-1:00p - Looking for Volunteers |
Community Meals |
In Acts, God blessed the church when they met and ate together "with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people." It is such a joy to gather and be intentional in each others lives. What better way to do this than eating! A few times a year we gather together to have a meal, children activities, music, prayer and invite our community to join in!
