Our Porch Pantry
We know that now, more than ever, there are many in Newmarket facing food insecurity. The need ranges from the homeless, to individuals and families who have to chose between rent and groceries. We have created a new ministry right on our premises where we make food, as well as warmth and hygiene items, available to any who need it, in a covid-friendly, contact-free, 7x24 setting. We are currently serving the needs of about 30 people right here on Main Street through this active and vital community outreach. Read more about how this got started. What We Need Most This Week (Updated May 23, 2022)
Spring Is Around The Corner! Since the weather will be warming up, we no longer need warm items but will welcome NEW socks, t-shirts and hygiene items like soap, deodorant, face cloths, toothpaste and brushes. Another need is women are asking for feminine products. Dropping Off Your Contributions If you have items to drop off, there's usually someone at the office Tuesday to Friday.
